Coming back is s-w-e-e-t!

After a 6.5 month recovery (3 months with no running) from my bike crash at Ironman Canada, I returned to competition today, running a very hilly half marathon in 1:45. It was 5 minutes slower than my PR two years ago, but I am just so glad to finally be back at it. This sets me up for Coach Mike's camp next weekend, Boston Marathon in mid April and, in August (with 2 half Ironman races and other tris and running races along the way) for my return to Ironman Canada where I destroyed my shoulder last year. Coming back is s-w-e-e-t!
