This plantar fasciitis

No run this morning. I want to run and know in my ideal marathon build up I should be doing doubles some days. Today ought to be one of those days. A three miler this am on the indoor track, then my interval workout with the Spivey group tonight. But this plantar fasciitis (heel soreness) is causing me to pursue a different strategy. Now I am running Saturday (tempo), Sunday (long), Tuesday evening (recovery) and Thursday evening (intervals). I am missing four runs a week! (I am also spinning 2X a week, swimming 2X a week and doing lots of strength work and stretching.) I know I can prepare for a marathon at this rate, but I won't run the best time. Let's hope my slowly improving plantar allows me to start filling in more of the runs.
