-6 F with -17 F wind chill when I got into the car to drive to Rich's at 7 this morning. Broke out the cold weather running gear for the first time in a few years (global warming, you know). Yet, a mile after Rich and I started, we swung by his house again so I could drop off the pants to my running suit. Too warm! My high tech ASICS winter running tights were plenty. With gloves and mittens, double shirts and double socks, plus my high-tech hat, a light weight collar/face mask, cotton gloves with running mittens on top, and the jacket to my running suit, I was plenty warm and yet still could move. We only ran three miles because RIch's time was limited, but run we did, again proving we are true outdoor runners, whatever the weather.
